Take a few minutes and watch this video from the Center for Wrongful Convictions at Northwestern University. Note the chilling statistic that of the 289 men and women sentenced to death in Illinois after it reinstated capital punishment in the mid seventies, by 2003, six percent had been exonerated.

Stunning. Alarming. I have so many emotions at the moment. Words would clutter. My primary feeling is pain. So many have lost their potentiality in life due to the lust for power and accusations.
Isn't this exactly what happened to Christ (for one)?
Crucifixion is still a part of the mob mentality today. It isn't only the mindless and apathetic crowds, it is also those in the professions designed to crucify without a second thought.
I can't comprehend how all of these abhorrent behaviors are applauded and accepted without empathy. Whether it is the out-for-blood average people, or the judicial hangmen/women.
